I wish they would have one every season. Selected Vivienne Westwood stores in the North (Leeds, Manchester and our very own Newcastle store) are celebrating the stunning S/S 2014 collection with a tea party themed shopping event, all taking place from 6pm on 1st May. If you fancy something stronger than tea, expect classy canapes and fizz to accompany models showing the Women's Red Label and Man collection. Expect a laid back feel whilst you choose the latest additions to your spring wardrobe. The Spring/Summer collection generally has climate change as a theme each year, with slogans adorning oversized T shirts, this season being layered beneath the classic gown. The collection is inspired by artists, with photoprint floral designs reminiscent of great French painters alongside classic black and white wardrobes staples. A white smock takes its inspiration from what artists wore whilst painting; the collection is full of historical references.
The Man collection is typically flamboyant and not for the faint hearted. Spring/summer staples are teamed with eccentric prints, baker boy caps and outlandish suits.
